You were provided a handout with the expectations for each assignment. This page will house a brief overview of that information. Assignment 1-Annotated Bibliography- Find three sources (no Wikipedia) that you plan on using information from in your speech. Type the website or book title/author and then provide a summary of the information on the site that you wish to reference. Make sure that the information is different from each source, and that you utilize as much information as possible.
Assignment 2-Outline- Follow the outline format I gave you on the handout. This will help you organize your speech.
Remember---there are NO exceptions for the due dates for the assignments. They MUST be typed, size 12 font, TIMES NEW ROMAN.
On the day of the speech, I will select names and numbers randomly. There is no guarantee that you will be able to give your speech on the first day. You MUST be ready on Dec. 17/18. Again, if you are absent without an excuse or refuse to deliver the speech, you will receive a 0. You can also have one index card on the day of the speech. But, you must write the 3 points on the card. No other information will be able to be housed on the card. I will check this when you come in on the day of the speech.
These assignments go hand-in-hand. You cannot have one without the other.
